Foodie Fridays - Foods and Wines of California

 

Take your inner foodie on a tour of the palate this summer with gourmet meals and wines of the world as San Francisco Wine School opens its doors for Foodie Fridays! Each night, guests will enjoy welcome bubbles and a sit down 4-course themed tasting dinner prepared by Resident Chef Danae McLaughlin, with 8 wines carefully selected by Master Sommelier David Glancy to compare and contrast with the dishes. Meals will be enjoyed at community tables to keep things social and narrated by one of San Francisco Wine School’s industry leading instructors who will discuss the producers, varietals, & regions selected along with food and wine pairing theory.

Seating is limited. Tickets are $165 + tax and must be purchased online in advance. Gratuity is included. 

On Friday, July 15th, we'll be enjoying Foods and Wines of California!

Bubbles will be served at 6:30p, dinner follows from 7-9pm.

First Course:
Cobb Salad - Iceberg and Watercress Topped with Quail Egg, Avocado, Tomato, Chicken Breast, Smoked Bacon and Blue Cheese Crumbles
drizzled with Red Wine Vinaigrette

Second Course:
Deconstructed Cioppino
Dungeness Crab Cake, Mussels, Clams, Shrimp, Tilapia and a
Rich Tomato Nage served with San Francisco Sourdough

Third Course:
Harris Ranch Roasted Tri-Tip served with San Francisco Style Rice Pilaf, Grilled Garden Squash Medley and a Zinfandel Reduction

Fourth Course:
Ghirardelli Chocolate Flourless Cake
