You can pickup your wine or have it delivered. Standard shipping is included in most classes and events. Wine cannot be delivered to AL, KT, MS, NH, ND, SD, and VT.

Wine Service Techniques
GO BEYOND OPENING THE BOTTLE: Take a deep dive into the myriad facets, including the challenges, of sommelier service.
Description
Service is much more than proficiently performing, it is an attitude. Learn the roles and conduct of the sommelier, mis en place for service shifts, responsible alcohol service and the mechanics. Standard wine service, Champagne, decanting and tray service will be demonstrated by the instructor and performed by each student. Tools, service temperatures, screw caps, wax sealed bottles and other challenging scenarios will be discussed.
This class may be taken as part of our Somm Essentials certification program or individually à la carte. Your class fees can be applied to the cost of the program tuition if you would like to continue on. Payment plans are available for the full series. Format & Location
Hybrid - Room/Zoom
Our Hybrid Room/Zoom experience allows each individual to choose to participate in-person as a "Roomer" with wine in their glass or online as a "Zoomer" with a custom tasting kit. Both Roomers and Zoomers have the same wines and are able to engage with us and each other during these live classes. Recordings are also available within 1 business day after the class. You will receive the zoom link and any handouts needed a few days before class via email. Check spam and contact help@sfwineschool.com if you have not received it within 1 business day of your class/event.
If you have a tasting kit, it may be picked up at San Francisco Wine School or delivered across the US. Wine parameter lists are available for those participating in locations where kits cannot be delivered. View pickup and delivery options here.
