Friday through Sunday marked another successful California Wine Appellation Specialist 3-Day Intensive Weekend lead by Master Sommelier David Glancy.  Special Guest Speakers included Stephen Collum, Vineyard Consultant and Manager of over a dozen Calaveras County Wineries, Randy Caparoso, Award Winning Wine Journalist and Consultant for the Lodi Winegrape Commission, and *Surprise Guest* Matt Hughes, Winemaker from Brassfield Estate Winery in Lake County, who just happened to be leaving the Volcanic Wines Seminar as we were beginning the discussion of his region.  We covered a tremendous amount of ground and tasted 83 wines from across the state!
