Discover the major wine denominations of Southern Italy’s Campania and Basilicata. Explore the famous appellations of Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, Taurasi, Aglianico del Vulture and much more. Learn where they're located, what grape varieties they're made from, their styles and importance, and an introduction to foods and culture of the regions. A portion of the class will be dedicated to review of southern Italian regions covered in prior classes.
This workshop can be taken as part of the Italian Wine Scholar South program or on its own. As part of this workshop, you'll taste 6-8 wines related to the curriculum. If you sign up for the entire series, discounts apply and payment plans are available.
