Temperate Climate Wines of the World



Flying at 10,000 feet, we will look for global patterns touring the world by glass. In this class, we leave the extreme climates of cold and hot and strike out in the middle with both white and red wines as we journey through the highlights of Central France, Central Italy, Northern Spain and California. Our guided tasting of 6-8 wines will focus on New World vs Old World and examples of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese.

This workshop may be taken as part of our Somm Essentials program or individually a la carté. Your workshop fees can be applied to the cost of the program tuition if you would like to continue on. Payment plans are available for the full series.

ONLINE & WINE TASTING OPTIONS

All Webinar & Webcast participants will receive pdf handouts, wine lists, and a the link to attend the webinar with login details.  

If in-person classes have not yet resumed by the time class begins or if you are unable to attend class in person, full price registrants may pickup a wine tasting kit with class wines at the school by appointment or have it shipped to you for an additional fee.  You will be notified of pickup procedures prior to class.
