Description

Our prior comparative clonal tastings have featured Pinot Noirs like Pomard, Dijon, Hanzell and others.  Last year, we featured single clone Cabernet Sauvignons, all from Napa Valley.  It was so popular, we're bringing it back again this year!  Get ready to learn about and taste seven different cabernet sauvignon clones to understand their characteristics, optimal growing conditions, and their application in modern winemaking.  We'll also taste what happens when they're blended together!

Whether you missed last year's tasting or would like a chance to refresh your memory and learn more, you can explore the nuances of different cabernet clones with Master Sommelier David Glancy and special guests from Bell Wine Cellars John Hazak, Director of Winemaking and Hillary Cole, Director of Sales.  Bell Wine Cellars is Napa Valley's leading researcher and producer of Single Clone Cabernet Sauvignon.
