A Special Hybrid Tasting Event
Be a part of the global celebration of Australian pinot noir this March with the San Francisco Wine School!
Master Sommelier David Glancy and Wine Australia’s Mark Davidson will lead guests through a 9-wine seated tasting of pinot noir wines from 5 cool climate regions of Australia. They'll be joined by two notable pinot noir producers, Mac Forbes of Mac Forbes Wines and Kate McIntyre MW of Moorooduc Estate. Together, they'll share stories and insights about vines, sites, process and place. We'll also discuss key themes of this year’s Pinot Noir Celebration Australia including custodianship, sustainability, regenerative viticulture and regional diversity.
This experience is an extension of the Pinot Noir Celebration Australia, held on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia this February and is brought to you by Global Victoria, Wine Australia, and Wine Victoria.
Our special guests and winemakers will be available for questions after what should be a lively and informative discussion!
