San Francisco Wine School is thrilled to host this very special private virtual event for Facebook Friday, March 19th 4-5:30p PST!
Sake is one of the oldest alcoholic beverages, made by fermenting rice that has been polished to remove the bran. In this eye opening edu-tasting, we’ll dive into it’s multiple parallel fermentations to learn how it’s made, and the different styles that exist. We’ll taste the differences the region, variety of rice, milling level, filtering, and more can make in the taste of this complex, ancient beverage.
While sake wine is not required to enjoy this event, guests have the opportunity to purchase a wine tasting kit if they wish to taste along with their instructor during the session.
