This fast-paced, comprehensive 1-day intensive workshop focuses on important foundational areas for personal and professional success including blind wine tasting analysis, food & wine pairing, and professional wine service techniques. Created by Master Sommelier David Glancy, this class is perfect for students studying for beginning and intermediate level sommelier exams and those who want to improve their performance on the job. Enthusiasts also enjoy this eye-opening day of personal development! Taste over 12 wines throughout the workshop.
This is the first day of the 2-Day Somm Intensive: Theory, Tasting & Service program. It may be taken à la carte or as part of the full program. If you decide to go on with the full program, your workshop fee will be credited towards the full program tuition. Format & Location
Hybrid - Room/Zoom
Our Hybrid Room/Zoom experience allows each individual to choose to participate in-person as a "Roomer" with wine in their glass or online as a "Zoomer" with a custom tasting kit. Both Roomers and Zoomers have the same wines and are able to engage with us and each other during these live classes. Recordings are also available within 1 business day after the class.
