Yes. Members pay a fee according to their level every quarter for access to the membership program and related benefits. There are no termination fees or hidden costs!

Absolutely. You may cancel your membership at any time in the membership portal. Your benefits are at the beginning of your billing cycle, so they will remain in effect through the end of your 3 month billing cycle. Once your benefits expire, you will no longer have access to them. Membership fees are not refundable. You may learn more about the timing of wine shipments in "when will I get my wine club allocation?"

You will receive your wine club shipment 2-3 weeks after the end of each calendar quarter - on or around Jan 15, Apr 15, July 15, & Oct 15. You must be an active member in good standing on the last day of the calendar quarter (Mar 31, Jun 30, Sep 30, & Dec 31) in order to receive your quarterly wine allocation shipment the following month. If your membership benefits expire before the end of the calendar quarter, you will not be eligible to receive that quarter's shipment the following month. If you sign up for membership after the end of a calendar quarter, but before shipments have gone out, you will be allowed to participate in the quarterly wine club tasting and purchase club wines on an a la carte basis subject to availability after the allocation has been distributed and you will be eligible to receive the following quarterly shipment.

YES! No need to pay extra fees to ship your wines. If you prefer to pick up your wines at the school during the quarterly tasting or at another convenient time, that is no problem. Just let us know when you will be picking them up in advance of the shipment

You can elevate your wine club experience each quarter with exclusive, members-only seated tastings featuring our 6 wine club allocations and guided by Master Sommelier David Glancy. You'll gain insight into the reasons behind each selection, as well as the grapes, producers, and regions they represent. Attend in-person or join online with a tasting kit to ensure your connection to these extraordinary wines. Separate tasting fees apply.

With Learn & Earn Rewards you'll receive credits on net registration fees paid to San Francisco Wine School for any class or event to be used towards future registrations. Unfortunately registration fees paid to other organizations such as Grape Experience for WSET courses do not qualify. Log into your account to see your rewards!

During our monthly Spill the Wine Conversations, you'll engage in a live, online open discussion with Master Sommelier David Glancy. We'll cover whatever's on your mind: food pairings, wines, vintages, cellaring, career insights, and more. This is an exclusive benefit for Members Only. There is no charge to attend these events, but you do need a link to join, so make sure to register for any sessions you'd like to join so we can send that to you in advance. Then, just log on, pour a glass and let's chat!

Twice a year, we'll invite you and your fellow SFWS Members to join us at our beautiful top floor education & event center to taste some of the most unique and limited wines we've collected over the years as Master Sommelier David Glancy digs out some savored gems from the San Francisco Wine School cellar. These are treasured last bottles or special wines you won't see in class! We'll aslo have some nibbles to enjoy as you sip on the evenings selections! Members may bring up to one non-member guest. This is an in-person only event. Registration fees apply.
