Take an active role in supporting the organization, work/travel flow, and information management of
Reyes Wine Group LLC.

The Day-to-Day:
You’ll be responsible for developing best practices for conducting luxury activations, managing a travel and expense budget along with overall finances, and managing customer/consumer distribution lists to share digital content.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Oversee the daily operations

· Develop and direct a wine program that maintains integrity, adds value to the operation and enhances the guest experience
· Assist the Food & Beverage Director and Bar Manager to plan, organize, support, control, and evaluate the operation with special focus on Bar and Wine Service in all locations on property.
· Continuously provide support to all service staff and actively participate in the market, lounge or dining areas
· Provide continuous beverage training, by tasting and educating the staff about wine, beer, liquor and beverages to be a stand out operation in our industry
· Ensure excellent maintenance and cleanliness routines for all dining, market and all beverage storage areas at all times
· Ensure that appropriate physical inventory of all beverage items are always available to staff/guests
· Establish and maintain positive & productive working relationships with producers and distributors
· Cultivate relationships with local producers and winemakers to create an environment of “Regulars”

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· (3+) years of experience managing and developing a wine program and staff.
· At least 2 years of list selection, purchasing, inventory management, staff training, etc.
· Strong communication, both written and verbal
· Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
· High level of proficiency with Microsoft office

Chef / Owner Paul Magu trained in 2-3 star kitchens in Paris, and was most recently at the Ritz Carlton as sous chef, and the St Regis San Francisco as executive sous chef. This is a new position for us, as until recently we have had a server / manager combo. We have decided that we need someone to focus exclusively on management, training, and taking us to the "next level".

Duties include:

Wine list management. Currently aprox 80 bottle list 80% French 20% California. Work with vendors / chef to make sure wine reflects items that guests want and compliment our menu. Develop wine inventory / tracking system. Develop training programs for staff & wine / food specials with the chef.

Staff management. Work with owner to create training / incentive programs to ensure the staff is knowledgeable and working together for maximum benefit. Assist in hiring, terminating and scheduling.

Guest Interaction - Be present on the floor during service to assist with wine sales, overall service, and guest satisfaction. Assist in guest recognition program or other ways to WOW our guests & keep them coming back

Social Media - assist in marketing / IG etc

PR - attend occasional social events or trade events as a representative of REVE

Office work - develop accurate beverage management system & maintain. Create SOP data base for FOH positions / duties. Must be proficient in Word & Excel

• Attend Industry events as directed.
• The workweek is Monday to Friday with a possible requirement of up to 20 Saturdays of work a year.

SFWS Hospitality Internships are offered to those students (“Interns”) who desire to obtain new skills and work experience beverage and/or hospitality industry to round out their education (“Internship”).
