As our first Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be in charge of leading an essential channel for Maker, including:

- Maintaining and growing an account list of retail partnerships across California and soon to include Washington and Oregon. Pitching new retailers, bringing on new key accounts, and expanding to new geographies as desired.

- Working with retailers to negotiate pricing, secure premier product placement, build and merchandise displays, train and educate partners and staff, and get the cans “off the shelf” and into the hands of happy customers.

Who You Are:

ETTAN (pronounced Ea-tahn) will redefine how people experience Indian cuisine; creating a unique confluence of the Indian palette with California fresh ingredients. The Position:
We are looking for an experienced (min. 2 years) manager with passion for wine from all parts of the world. The position's title can be determined based on your experience as we are looking for a floor manager or an asst. General Manager with focus on maintaining our wine list and staff training. As of now we have a compact wine list that we would like to expand with your preferences.
Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 to 10 hours per day.
Your days off would be Mondays and either Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on your preference.
Compensation: Annual $65k - $75k

Boutique wine retailer specializing in DTC wine fulfillment & shipping is looking for a responsible, hardworking individual to assist in the logging, fulfillment, movement, and shipping of wine. The position requires experience with warehousing, conducting inventory, parcel shipping, and use of point-of-sale systems for invoicing and fulfilling orders. Having some wine-related knowledge or experience is extremely helpful and preferred in this role (i.e., being able to read a wine label and recognize the differences between wine regions, vintages, producers, etc).


ORDER FULFILLMENT: Packing wine orders and preparing them to be shipped, delivered, or received. This role requires attention to detail and careful handling of valuable wines.

LOGISTICS COORDINATION AND CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION: Coordinating and managing the logistics associated with the shipping, delivery and pick-up of wine orders. 

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Assisting with inventory management. Entering new wines into a POS system and keeping said inventory numbers accurate and up to date. -

RECEIVING: Receiving wine deliveries and closely reconciling received shipments vs what was ordered. Providing the finance department with all invoices. Filing historical invoices in an organized system.

Ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);

• Familiarity with Quickbooks POS a plus;

• Basic understanding of wine shipping compliance;

• Computer literate/capable with spreadsheets and inventory software;

• Physical ability to lift 40-50 lbs repeatedly;
