This fast-paced, comprehensive 2-day intensive program focuses on important foundational areas for personal and professional success including global wine theory, blind wine tasting analysis, food & wine pairing, and professional wine service techniques. Taught by Master Sommelier David Glancy, this class is perfect for students studying for beginning and intermediate level sommelier exams and those who want to improve their performance on the job. Taste 24 wines throughout the program.
Test your knowledge and preparation if you choose with 2 Exam Ad-on options.
Students looking for a slower pace, deeper study of these topics, or a more comprehensive look at all aspects of the beverage industry should consider our Somm Essentials curriculum.

Hybrid - Room/Zoom
We've recently invested in some serious AV technology upgrades to create an integrated Hybrid Room/Zoom experience for all students, so each individual can choose to participate in-person as a "Roomer" with wine in their glass or online as a "Zoomer" with a custom tasting kit. Both Roomers and Zoomers have the same wines and are able to engage with us and each other during these live classes. Recordings are also available within 1 business day after the class.
