Regular weekly schedules is the goal. Additional work is possible preparing charcuterie platters and assisting in bar service, as well as other hospitality/event shifts and potentially as instructors.
Wages: $20+/hr commensurate with experience and credentials Plus Tips. Highly credentialed instructors are eligible to earn higher wages.

Stock the bar & retail area with wine from the cellar.

Warmly welcome guests & guide them through the regularly changing wine selections.
Talk about wine, wine classes, & events whenever guests are open to it.

Serve wines by the glass, charcuterie boards, & retail wines for here & to-go.
Maintain guest tabs and collect payments.
Break down the bar at the end of the night completing closing inventory and check list.

The primary role will be working out of our state-of-the-art wine education center in South San Francisco. This person will be located at reception, greeting, answering questions and engaging with current and prospective, checking people in for class, managing classroom set-up and logistics, & coordinating student resources. Interaction is in-person, by phone, email, & Gorgias chat. Post class follow-up and documentation in customer record management software are also routinely part of the duties.
This Jack or Jill of all trades will also have their hands in admissions, marketing, accounting, facilities, events, and class logistics. The position requires outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and Google Productivity Tools. Experience with Perfect Venue, Shopify, Salesforce, and/or Gorgias is a plus. Superb organizational, project management along with strong verbal and writing skills are critical. Job description:
As a Fine Wine Specialist, your primary focus will be growing our presence by acquiring new on-premise and off-premise accounts. You’ll also manage existing relationships, build long-term partnerships, and help drive awareness of our brands across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and grow on-premise and off-premise accounts in the assigned territory
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients
- Promote and educate buyers on the portfolio’s unique wines and producers
- Coordinate staff trainings and tastings

We are currently preparing for an important visit to California in early September, during which several distinguished guests from our company will be touring various wineries in Napa. To ensure smooth communication and a more meaningful experience, we are looking to find a Korean student who is currently studying wine, viticulture/enology or a related field.
During the tour, the student will accompany our guests, providing wine-related interpretation(Korean ↔ English) as well as general communication support. All winery appointments will be arranged by our company. All transportation and lodging will be arranged by our company too and the student will be provided with accommodation and meals throughout the tour.

We are a classic French bistro bringing a touch of France to Lafayette. Since 2017, we have become one of the top restaurants in the area, maintaining a 4.8-4.9 OT score. Owned and operated by French chef Paul Magu-Lecugy and his wife, we work hard every day to be the top restaurant in the area. A passion for your work must be evident.We are looking for someone with a desire to be a part of a small team of long-term seasoned restaurant professionals who take customer service to the next level. No more 1 am nights, our staff is off by 10 mid-week and 11:30 on Friday / Saturday. Starting time is 4:00 pm
Off Sunday & Monday and closed for all holidays. (Open NYE) We're also closed for 2 weeks each summer. Paid for employees of more than 1 yr service. Holidays are paid for full time employees after 90 days.

Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine (specifically FRENCH), mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience.As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, pouring wines, washing all glassware, waiting on guests at the bar, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area in a fine dining environment. Requirements
- Proven experience for min of 1 year as a Bartender in an upscale environment is required.
- Take & pass French wine online class within 3 months of hiring, if you don't have a strong wine knowledge.
- Be on time and have minimal sick calls or requests for nights off. We are looking for someone who wants 5 nights a week.
- Strong knowledge of wines, and knowledge of French wines - and or willingness to learn. Your guests will expect you to know our wine list & be able to discuss it.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with TOAST
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work well within a team setting.
- Able to have professional and friendly conversations with a range of guests, building up regulars at the bar who want to come in just to sit with you!
