San Francisco Wine School is working hard to bring all relevant professional credential programs under one roof. We also conduct individual classes, workshops, corporate training and private events. All of our offerings are designed to aid you on the job and help prepare you for exams with Masters of Wine, Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust, Society of Wine Educators and others. Enthusiasts outside of the wine industry also find our classes to be fun and informative.

Somm Essentials – the perfect program for students starting out in the food & beverage industry or looking to polish their skills or broaden their skill base.
Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) - our own prep course for the Society of Wine Educators’ (SWE) notoriously difficult exam. Our interactive online program launches October 2014, sign up to hear the announcement.
French Wine Scholar (FWS) - We are the exclusive Bay Area provider for the French Wine Society’s respected and rigorous credential program.
Italian Wine Professional (IWP) – Italian Wine Central’s flagship credential designed for those who work in retail, restaurant, import, and distribution roles, but also appropriate for wine writers, educators, and avid connoisseurs who wish to increase their knowledge of Italian wine.
California Wine Appellation Specialist (CWAS)® - our own credential series, created by Master Sommelier David Glancy, is available as a 9 week in-class program, a traveling 3-day intensive, or an interactive online course.
