Les Dames d’Escoffier International Monterey Bay Chapter is offering up to 2 full San Francisco Wine School program scholarships for motivated women pursuing an education in the food, beverage and hospitality industries in the Monterey Bay Region, which includes the following counties: Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Luis Obispo. We offer a 50% scholarship for students interested in volunteering for our classes. Click here for role responsibilities and duties. In order to be considered, applicants must thoroughly complete this application and meet the following criteria:

  • Have been previously enrolled in a full-program at the San Francisco Wine School and passed the examination.
  • Have read and can execute all responsibilities of a Program Volunteer.
  • Demonstrate a career and/or professional need.
  • Demonstrate financial hardship or extenuating circumstance.
  • Have full availability to attend all courses in program requested.

All Scholarship Applications are due by 5:00pm, 2 weeks prior to the start date of the program. Please email your application to Be sure to put Volunteer Scholarship Applicant in the subject line. Applications are awarded based on completion of application and demonstration of need and NOT on a first come, first serve basis. Award notification will be emailed to applicants. Students must submit the completed application by the required deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.


In an effort to expand the support of our growing student body, we are now offering scholarship sponsorships to organizations and companies who value formal education in the hospitality and food & wine industry.
