Mark Davidson is back in San Francsico for a deep dive into wines that are shaping the future of Australia. Mark is the author of The Wines of Australia and Wine Australia’s North America educator.
Australia has an unbroken tradition of wine production dating back to the early 1800’s that laid the foundation for global appreciation of Australia’s classic wines. While these remain relevant today, the exploration of new varieties, fine-tuning of viticultural practices and more intuitive winemaking have changed the look and feel of Australian fine wine. The tasting will be a selection of wines from the chapter of Mark Davidson's book titled 101 Wines That Illuminate Australian Wine Today. We will not be trying 101 wines but it will be a stellar selection!
Mark will be signing copies of his book at the end of the session and while he will have a few copies on hand it would be best to buy your copy in advance.
