Ian Blue is the Member Relations Director for the Wine Institute. He has a background in politics and research having worked most recently as Legislative Assistant at the US House of Representatives. He left Washington, DC to work with the Wine Institute in San Francisco as Member Relations Director. In the first year of his new role he successfully completed San Francisco Wine School's California Wine Appellation Specialist program as he represents Wine Institute's member wineries. The Wine Institute's mission is to initiate and advocate public policy that enhances the ability to responsibly produce, promote and enjoy wine while advocating for California wine at the state, federal, and international levels.
