Jancis Robinson is described by Decanter magazine as "the most respected wine critic and journalist in the world". Three global polls in 2018 nominated her the world’s most influential wine writer. She is the co-author, along with Hugh Johnson, of the newly published eighth edition of the World Atlas of Wine, a completely revised new version of the landmark wine book that has now sold over 4.7 million copies worldwide and is widely recognized as the most authoritative wine reference work available.
She writes daily for JancisRobinson.com and weekly for the Financial Times, has authored and edited many books on the subject, and advises Queen Elizabeth on her cellars.
San Francisco Wine School welcomed Ms Robinson the evening of Thursday, November 7, 2019 to discuss recent changes in the global winescape and lead a tasting of selected 21st Century wines from around the world that represent new areas and topics in this year’s Atlas.
