There’s a hidden gem tucked away in South San Francisco - and now it’s officially here to stay. Starting this spring, the Secret Wine Bar at San Francisco Wine School opens its doors every Thursday through Saturday evening from 5 PM – 9 PM.
Long celebrated for world-class wine education and events, San Francisco Wine School is thrilled to make their popular pop-up wine bar a permanent fixture. This is your invitation to explore the world of wine in a relaxed, welcoming setting that’s anything but pretentious - complete with stunning views, delectable bites, and an ever-changing lineup of exceptional wines.
"With so much uncertainty and division in the world today, we wanted to lean into our local community and create a casual place for people to connect over wine and conversation," shares Kristin Campbell, Co-Owner and COO. "We’re excited to offer this new way to gather with each other and our knowledgeable team.”

At the heart of the Secret Wine Bar is a rotating selection curated by Master Sommelier David Glancy, featuring wines from every corner of the world. Each month brings a new theme, blending beloved classics with rare, surprising finds you may have never encountered before. From limited-production treasures to familiar favorites, there’s something for everyone - whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or just beginning your wine journey.
Prefer a lighter option? Low and no-alcohol selections are available, too.

Pair Wines with Delectable Bites
Where there’s great wine, there’s great food. Chef-crafted Nosh Boards - loaded with international cheeses, charcuterie, homemade dips, jams, roasted nuts, and pickled vegetables - are designed to complement each evening’s wine selections. Perfect for sharing (or keeping to yourself - we don’t judge), boards are available by pre-order to guarantee your perfect pairing.
Connect with Wine Experts and Special Guests
Each evening, the Secret Wine Bar is hosted by San Francisco Wine School’s team of expert instructors and sommeliers, offering thoughtful recommendations and behind-the-scenes stories about the wines you’re sipping. You’ll often find Co-Owners David Glancy and Kristin Campbell behind the bar or mingling with guests - and look out for special guest appearances like Emanuel Reolon of Chianti’s famed Isole e Olena, visiting May 30.
