The Journey to Brick and Mortar: Part One - Pre-Construction

Thousands of students have benefitted from a San Francisco Wine School education in satellite locations since the school's founding in 2011, though it wasn't until early Spring 2015 that Master Sommelier David Glancy and Chief Operating Officer Kristin Campbell found the perfect brick and mortar home for what would become our Wine Education & Events Center in downtown South San Francisco.

While it was clear that the unique bones of the space were exactly right, there was a ton of work to be done to conceive and execute the construction of the space into what it is today.

Take a look at our journey as we created the perfect center for the largest wine school in the country, home to a diverse array of classes, public and private events, tastings, dinners and more!
