Etna DOC is the only wine region in the world on an active volcano. Alta Mora was founded by the Cusumano brothers in 2013 but some of the vines are 160 years old & ungrafted. The name translates as High Black & it is on the upper slopes of the mountain. It is family owned & all the wines are estate grown & hand harvested.
