This an engaging and fun beginner level sake class for anyone who has an interest to learn about sake or for people working in a career in the beverage industry. This course offers an exploration of the main styles and types of sake through sight, smell and taste to understand the key factors affecting flavors and aromas. Upon successful completion of a short multiple choice exam you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

The course takes place over one Saturday and ends with the exam.  All materials are digital and emailed to participants in advance of the course date.

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust, or WSET, was founded in London in 1969 and is regarded as one of the world's leading providers of wine education. Upon successful completion of a short multiple choice exam you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

There are no prerequisites for this program.  All attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

The Glancy Wine Education Foundation assists those looking to start or advance their career in wine or hospitality with educational scholarships of 60-100% depending on your level of need.
