Certified Specialist of Wine Syllabus

Our Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) program, created by Master Sommelier David Glancy, delivers top-tier global wine education for intermediate students and fully prepares them for the Society of Wine Educators' (SWE) rigorous CSW exam.

It's ideal for professionals and enthusiasts looking to increase their knowledge of wine theory, tasting and regions of the world, wine learning to understand labeling how production impacts what's in the bottle.  This program also supports career advancement and pathways to advanced certifications like Certified Wine Educator, WSET Diploma, Master of Wine, and Master Sommelier. 

The syllabus is below.  Individual classes can also be taken a la carté and credited toward the full program fee if you decide you'd like to continue.
