The Rhône Rangers are returning to San Francisco for the first time since 2017—and we’re welcoming them back a night early at San Francisco Wine School!
Join Master Sommelier David Glancy and six Rhône Rangers winemakers for an intimate seated tasting and lively panel discussion the evening before the Rhône Rangers join the Guardsmen at Fort Mason for Sip, Savor & Spark 2026. Taste alongside the people behind the wines as David leads the conversation, exploring the grapes, regions, history of the movement, winemaking philosophies and personalities shaping American Rhône wines today.
"I'm thrilled to welcome the Rhone Rangers back to San Francisco for the first time in a decade with this panel of "Rhone Star" winemakers who bring such diverse west coast perspectives from Walla Walla all the way down to Santa Barbara. The wines will be as eclectic as the panelists! We’ll discuss the start of the movement in the 1970s, the formation of the Rhone Rangers in the 1980s, where they are today and what the future holds." ~ Master Sommelier David Glancy
