Description

I have been a fan of Aligote from Bouzeron & the rest of Burgundy for many years & am thrilled that it is gaining traction in cool New World regions. The grape tends to produce lean, crisp wines with delicate floral notes, somewhat similar to Chablis. While the wine world knows Willamette Valley as a star, the obscure Elkton AVA is the coolest of Southern Oregon & shows promise.
