Discover the major wine denominations of Northern Italy’s Piemonte or Piedmont as they say in English. Explore the famous appellations of Asti, Gavi, Barolo, Barbaresco and much more. Learn where they're located, what grape varieties they're made from, their styles and importance, and an introduction to foods and culture of the region. A portion of the class will be dedicated to review of southern Italian regions covered in prior classes.

This workshop is the first of 6 classes in the Italian Wine Scholar North program and is available for à la carte registration. This is a great way to preview the program. Your workshop fees can be applied to the cost of the full series if you would like to continue on.
