Tuscan (aka Toscana) Wines

Discover the major wine denominations of Central Italy’s Toscana region or as many say in English, Tuscany. Explore the famous appellations of Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Bolgheri, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione and much more. Fully dive into Tuscany, through tasting the wines of the region, examining the cuisine and culture, and gain an understanding of the requirements, grape varieties, and winemaking practices that make Tuscany so special. Learn where they're located, what grape varieties they're made from, their styles and importance, how they taste and an introduction to the foods and culture of the regions.

This workshop is the first of 6 classes in the Italian Wine Scholar South program and is available for a la carté registration.  This is a great way to preview the program.  If you decide to continue, your workshop fee will be credited towards the full program tuition and payment plans are available.

As part of this class, you'll taste 6-8 wines related to the curriculum.
