Provence, Languedoc & Roussillon

This week we travel to the extreme south to the Cote d'Azur of Provence. Did you know that Provence is the oldest wine region in France? Although Languedoc & Roussillon are often discussed together, they are distinctive regions with distinctive personalities. Did you know that 90% of France's Vins Doux Naturels hail from Roussillon? Did you know that France's first and oldest sparkling wine was produced in the Languedoc? This class covers an in-depth history, geography, climate and the wines of the Provence, Languedoc and Roussillon.

This workshop is part of the French Wine Scholar program. As part of this workshop, you'll taste 6-8 wines related to the curriculum.
