SEPTEMBER IS CALIFORNIA WINE MONTH 🍇CELEBRATE WITH LEARNING!

Tasting, Chemistry & Flaws

Are you skilled in the sensory evaluation of wine? The practice of wine tasting requires a formalized methodology that includes understanding perceived wine flavors, aromas, and characteristics of wine. Sommeliers understand and can explain the structure, style, balance and quality of wine, as well identify winemaking flaws. This workshop is a must for those seeking to improve or master their wine tasting skills and knowledge.  Includes guided blind tastings of 6 wines.

This workshop may be taken as part of our Somm Essentials program or individually a la carté. Your workshop fees can be applied to the cost of the program tuition if you would like to continue on. Payment plans are available for the full series.

This workshop is also offered through our Certified Specialist of Wine program.  Check for additional dates and times.
