Description
In this class students learn and practice flaw identification using the Society of Wine Educators’ Faults and Imbalances Exam with the same samples and ratios presented for the Certified Wine Educator level. Exam preparation and test-taking strategies to help students work smarter not harder is also discussed.
This class is part of the Intermediate Blind Tasting educational series. It may be taken as part of the full series or individually à la carte. Your class fees can be applied to the cost of the full series if you would like to continue on. Payment plans are available for the full series. Format & Location
Hybrid - Room/Zoom
Our Hybrid Room/Zoom experience allows each individual to choose to participate in-person as a "Roomer" with wine in their glass or online as a "Zoomer" with a custom tasting kit. Both Roomers and Zoomers have the same wines and are able to engage with us and each other during these live classes. Recordings are also available within 1 business day after the class. If you have a tasting kit, it may be picked up at San Francisco Wine School or delivered across the US. Wine parameter lists are available for those participating in locations where kits cannot be delivered. View pickup and delivery options here.
