Profiling grapes is critical for varietal recognition. In this workshop, Master Sommelier David Glancy helps students tackle the most challenging flights of thick skinned red wines. Explore 7-10 examples from jammy to tannic to identify the similarities and differences in each grape and discuss the major regions globally and as you learn to decipher the differences in regional versus varietal identity.
This workshop is part of the Advanced Blind Tasting program.
