Developed by Master Sommelier David Glancy, this 6-workshop series is designed to enhance your blind wine analysis techniques using some of the trickiest flights that exist! Serious enthusiasts and professional wine students will learn important techniques to help them differentiate between commonly confused varietals and regional influences. As a group you will identify common threads and figure out key differences. Drills will include an emphasis on focus, timing, descriptions and conclusions. Perfect for those preparing for upper level exams and competitions! It combines elements of the Court of MS technique, WSET & MW and is also very helpful for CWE, or to simply better understand wine.Take the full program or just the workshops you need. Check out the syllabus below.
Session 1
Mondays 10:00-12:30pm
May 8 to Jun 19
* No class on May 29th
Hybrid - Room/Zoom
We've recently invested in some serious AV technology upgrades to create an integrated Hybrid Room/Zoom experience for all students, so each individual can choose to participate in-person as a "Roomer" with wine in their glass or online as a "Zoomer" with a custom tasting kit. Both Roomers and Zoomers have the same wines and are able to engage with us and each other during these live classes. Recordings are also available within 1 business day after the class.
